The Future of Downtown East is Very Bright

Two of Toronto’s game changing developments will be taking place in Downtown East.

The first is a brand new Subway line (The Ontario Line) that on June 2nd sent out RFQ’s as it looks more and more likely that this will be the relief subway line we have been crying out for for years.

The new line proposes a stop called “Corktown” just a few minutes walk from 28 Eastern.

The second is what we believe to be one of Toronto’s most important developments, East Harbour – an area where we expect a brand new financial district to be built, along with a major modal transit connection (think a second Union Station).

The lands were recently purchased by Cadillac Fairview for $690 million.
