42 Charles Street East (CASA2) Minor Update

We get asked about CASA2 more than any other project.  The funny thing is that there is really no real information yet.  We wrote that there was recently an application put into the city, and now we have a couple of additional minor updates from people close to the project.

-Application board has gone up on site.  Find image below courtesy of @YairRabinovich.  The details from the board indicate: 58 Storeys, 570 suites, 4 storey podium with two access points – one from Charles and one from Hayden (should help with the traffic on these smaller streets), 215 parking spots with amenity space on the roof of the 4 storey podium.

The application calls for a 186.7 meter tower atop a 15.65 meter podium, taking the development higher than the magical 200 meter mark.

-UNCONFIRMED: The development will NOT be called CASA 2.  The official tweet reads “42 Charles will not be called CASA 2 …New name will be CASA _______?? We will all soon find out!”
