Aqualina Condos the Latest in Toronto’s New Waterfront Community

The East Bayfront (now known as “Bayside Toronto”) re-development is well and truly under way.  The $1.1 Billion revitalization of 13 acres on Toronto’s newest waterfront community is among one of the most ambitious in the entire city.  Corus Entertainment and George Brown College have already made the budding location their home with incredible state of the art buildings.

The brand new neighbourhood will feature new residential condominium projects that will house 1,900 new residential suites, brand new retail and a brand new parkette (Sherbourne Common) that will sit just west of Aqualina Condominiums.

One of the largest concerns about the new neighbourhood has been the lack of transit currently available.  The current plans highlight a new bus route that will run along Queens Quay every 3 minutes that will connect Bayside to Union Station and the Downtown Core.

The latest condominium project to launch in the new neighbourhood is Aqualina Condominiums by Tridel and Hines.  The mid-rise condominium features a “cruise ship” style design with incomparable waterviews.  Aqualina Condominiums is as close to the water as you can get without falling in.

We would argue that of all the buildings in Bayside, Aqualina is positioned for the best views.  Immediately to the south is the lake) and to the west sits the brand new Sherbourne Common Parkette giving protected views of both lake AND city.
