Cityzen’s Masterplanned Ordnance Triangle Details Emerge

Before we get started on Ordnance, we have to talk a little bit about Cityzen.  Cityzen are one of Toronto’s leading developers when it comes to pushing the envelope on design.  Their work on Absolute Condos in Mississauga (dubbed the “Marylin Monroe” Towers) need no introduction, and L Tower is among the most instantly recognizable in all of Toronto.

The site for Ordnance Triangle is located nearby Liberty Village and will feature stunning and protected views to the east (Downtown Toronto) and South (Park and Lake)

One of their more ambitious projects in recent years is the five building re-development of “Ordnance Triangle” located nearby Liberty Village which will also incorporate a new public park and a huge emphasis on street level retail and space.

The proposal features 5 new condominium towers ranging from 23 to 49 storeys, a brand new pedestrian bridge that will connect the development to Stanley Park to the North, Liberty Village to the West and the Lakefront to the South and a 4 acre public park.

In addition to the stunning tower and bridge design, we also love the emphasis placed on the street level.  An enormous effort has been made to enhance the “public space” with large amounts of retail space planned to work together with the parks and public areas.  Below are a handful of images that show off the street level of the images.

The Ordnance Triangle development is extremely exciting.  We love everything about the proposal from the design itself to the way it connects to the street and how to the overall area connects to the rest of the City.  It’s a masterful plan that has allowed Cityzen and team to flex their architectural muscles.

We can’t wait to hear more and bring the opportunity to purchase at these stunning condominiums in the coming months.  For information as they become available, complete the form below!
