Brand New Subway
The growth of the VMC will be anchored around the brand new $2.4 billion Subway extension that will be located in the heart of the redevelopment and link Downtown Vaughan to Downtown Toronto, York University, the Airport (once the Eglinton line is completed) and many other key destinations.
The new Subway will help attract major companies to relocating their offices to Vaughan.
Brand New Condos
This intense growth will also bring forward new condominiums and allows investors the opportunity to be part of the new Downtown years before it is completed.
The Icona Condos will become the latest new condominium project in this budding neighbourhood. Developed by the Gupta Group, The Icona Condos will rise to 44 and 48 storeys and include a re-development of the existing 9 storey Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. Icona Condos is launching in early 2017 and we expect huge demand.
Expo Condos and Expo Condos 2 are nearing completion and will become the first condominiums in the new Downtown. The hugely successful condominiums launched and sold in 2012.
