Daniels to Launch Alumni Collection at Lighthouse Tower
Daniels are gearing up to launch the Alumni Collection at Lighthouse Condos East Tower in September, the first release of studio and junior one-bedroom suites in the highly anticipated Lighthouse East Tower, the second residential phase at Daniels Waterfront – City of the Arts.
Lighthouse East Tower is the fourth and final tower that will be developed in a brand new 1.3 million square foot community that will bring residential, office, retail, educational and retail components to East Bayfront, one of Toronto’s fastest growing communities that will eventually be home to over 6,000 new residences.
East Bayfront is a rare occasion in a major global city to start a waterfront community from scratch. There has been huge planning in place to ensure that they get the right balance of condominiums, commercial space, public spaces and retail that will attract not just home buyers, but also serve as a destination within the City.
The neighbourhood will feature brand new parks, ice skating rinks, countless restaurants and cafes lined along both the waterfront and the new parks and also a new very walkable 1.5km waterfront promenade.
The new Daniels community is located just north of Sugar Beach and will bring a brand new retail complex at the ground level called “the Yard” that will connect the towers with brand new coffee shops, bistros and more adding a new layer of convenience for East Bayfront.
Daniels are one of the top developers in Toronto when it comes to building communities (as opposed to just single condominium projects) and recently showed their expertise in the revitalization of the 69 acre Regent Park.
Lighthouse East Tower will stand 36 storeys and is designed by Giannone Petricone. The tower will share a podium and amenity terrace with its sister tower, the 45-storey first phase.
