First Glimpse of 80 Storey Yonge & Bloor “The One Condos”

Mizrahi Developments lifted the lid on the stunning new proposal for The One Condominiums at a public consultation on March 11th, 2015, and is expected to become Canada’s tallest tower at over 1,000 feet tall.

The design uses steel beams on the exterior of the building as a support structure instead of pillars or columns running throughout the tower, and  Mizrahi describes this feature as both “function” and “jewelry”, calling it an 80 storey art piece running up and down the building.

The building is designed by World Renowned archived Foster+Partners, best known for their work in London (with “The Gherkin”) and New York (with “Hearst Tower”).

The steel beams will have a stunning impact on the ground level where it is expected to house over 150,000sq.ft. of prime Yonge & Bloor Retail across 8 storeys.
