Globe & Mail to Open New HQ on King East
Globe & Mail will be relocating their headquarters to King East and will become the head tenant of a stunning new office building which will add over 5,000 new jobs to the East side of Toronto.
Toronto East has been undergoing a huge revitalization and the master plan is now coming together with jobs being added to the new residential areas that have been experiencing growth such as the West Don Lands (with River City) and Canary District (the Pan Am Athletes Village).
Globe & Mail are not the only major player headed East. They join Toronto Star and Coca Cola (among others) who are making King East their new home.
East Toronto is starting to shape up very nicely. Corktown Commons, the brand new 18 acre urban park recently opened to rave reviews, Canary District continues to grow, the new transit lines will be added – East of Yonge is starting to give West of Yonge a real run for it’s money and this news will excite investors of River City and Canary District especially.
