“Holt Renfrew” Condominium Revealed?

Back in April we announced that an application had been submitted to re-zone 50 Bloor Street West (the building that houses Holt Renfrew) to a brand new 83 storey mixed use building that would include retail, commercial and residential aspects.

The proposal would make it one of the tallest buildings in Toronto and would soar past Aura which will stand at 78 storeys.

Today a rendering of the building was revealed by The National Post, who also revealed that Councilor Kristyn Wong-Tam has a number of concerns with the project proposal stating “No one is ready to approve this project.  It’s got a long way to go.”

The ball looks like it’s rolling on this project, and while we don’t expect any immediate results – this is a site we’re definitely keeping a very very close eye on.
