Lanterra Announce Exciting Condo Line-Up for 2012!
2012 is gearing up to be one of the best years ever for condominium enthusiasts with a number of exciting projects already announced (we will be doing a run down of the most anticipated projects of 2012 in the coming days).
Last night Lanterra held a private event for their top 20 agents to celebrate an incredible 2011 with successful projects Treviso Phase 2 and 3018 Yonge, and to announce their projects for 2012 in what may be their most exciting line up ever.
The first project announced by Lanterra was the third phase of their exciting and popular Treviso project at Lawrence and Dufferin. The multi phase development has been extremely well received and was TalkCondo’s “Investment Pick of the Month” in June, 2011.

The second project is a new mega project located at Bloor & Sherbourne, a project we wrote about a few weeks ago. This project has enormous potential for investors who will have the opportunity to purchase early in a multi-phased development by a AAA Developer.

The third project announced was 501 Yonge located at Yonge & College. Yonge & College is one of the hottest intersections in Toronto being both centrally located and just steps from the nearest subway station. Lanterra follow popular developers Lifetime Developments (Karma Condominiums) and Canderel (460 Yonge) to launch projects at Yonge & College. 501 will be two towers connected by a large podium.

The final project announced by Lanterra was the biggest surprise. It was announced for the first time last night that Lanterra purchased the Sutton Place Hotel located at 955 Bay Street with the intention of converting it into condominiums. Sutton Place Hotel, located nearby popular development 1000 Bay by Cresford was originally built in 1967 and stands 32 stores. This is a HUGE coup for Lanterra who will have the opportunity to convert this iconic building into condominium residences.
