This Month in New Condos (May 2016)
Another busy month in the world of new condos. Below is a list of the new projects added to TalkCondo this month.
New Condos in Toronto
Church & Shuter Condos by Menkes Developments
A brand new proposal by Menkes Development in Downtown Toronto. Church & Shuter Condos is located at the North East corner of Church & Shuter and the proposal calls for a 42 storey tower with 536 suites. The location features an amazing 99/100 WalkScore and a perfect 100/100 TransitScore.
The Lakefront Condos by Concord Adex
The Lakefront Condos is the second phase of the West Block re-development by Concord located at Lakeshore & Bathurst. The project will refurbish the original Loblaw building from 1928 with two modern towers rising from the (almost) century old building giving a unique mix of old and new.
Sunday School Lofts by Grid Developments
Sunday School Lofts is a 4 storey re-development of a heritage church, once used as a Sunday School in 1913. The project is located in the Riverdale neighbourhood and will house just 32 suites. The design will preserve much of the original exterior but will add a new wing with a modern design.
AYC Condos by Metropia
AYC Condos is short for Annex Yorkville Connection and is located where two of Toronto’s most popular neighbourhoods meet. The 27 storey tower will feature all the benefits of both neighbourhoods, including the luxorious shopping and amenities of Yorkville with the charm of Annex. The project is expected to launch this Fall.
The Foxbar Collection at Blue Diamond by Camrost-Felcorp
A Collection of 18 luxury townhomes located at the site of Imperial Plaza at Avenue & St. Clair. The Foxbar Collection is located just south of Forest Hill but features all the conveniences of Downtown Toronto. Prices start from $850,000.
2452 Bloor Street West by Plaza
2452 Bloor Street West Condos is a new proposal by Plaza developments located in the popular Baby Point neighbourhood at Bloor & Jane. The mid rise tower will stand 14 storeys and house 244 suites.
Westmount Boutique Residences by Quadcam
Westmount Boutique Residences is located at 700 Sheppard Avenue West (Sheppard & Bathurst) and will be a 10 storey project with 134 suites.
River City Phase 4 by Urban Capital
The fourth and final phase of the forward thinking, high design master planned River City community. River City Phase 4 is kitty cornered from RC3 and will feature unique design, amazing views of Corktown Commons Park and Downtown Toronto and quick access to the TTC.
1580 Avenue Road Condos by Stafford & Rosewater
A new 7 storey, 70 suite condominium located at Avenue & Lawrence, 1580 Avenue Road Condos will be located just steps to popular neighbourhoods such as Bedford park.
Water’s Edge at the Cove Condos by The Conservatory Group
Water’s Edge at the Cove Condos is the newest condominium project by the Conservatory Group at Humber Bay Park, the popular waterfront community in West Toronto. The project is located just steps to the lake, numerous walking and biking trails, restaurants and much more.
Queen & Sherbourne Condos by WAM
A huge 3 tower, 1645 unit proposal for a 4 acre parcel of land at Queen & Sherbourne. The proposal calls for mixed use towers (residential and retail) by Edmonton based WAM Developments. This project is in the early stages of proposal.
New Condos in Other Cities
SF3 Condos (Pickering) by Chestnut Hill
The latest condominium in Chestnut Hill’s master planned San Fransisco development in Pickering. The first two phases are under construction and SF3 will be launching later this year.
169 The Donway Condos (North York) by Lanterra & Cadillac Fairview
169 The Donway Condos is a brand new multi-phase project by Lanterra and Cadillac Fairview located in the Shops at Don Mills. Lanterra Developments have a huge CV of popular projects including ICE Condos, Teahouse Condos, Wellesley on the Park and much much more. 169 The Donway will stand 39 storeys.
