New Condos in Toronto For Less Than $600/sq.ft.

I was recently speaking to a very well known developer (won’t name any names) and he told me that if he were to buy a piece of land and try to launch a condo in Toronto today, he couldn’t sell it for less than $650/ft because of the increasing costs of land. We often joke that “$600 per square foot is the new $400 per square foot” with many new developments launching in Toronto around the $600/ft mark.

There are a number of great developments selling in Toronto today that are available for less than $600 per square foot in tremendous neighbourhoods such as the Entertainment District, Fashion District and St. Lawrence Market (and some even less than $500 per square foot – saving that for another post). I’m going to highlight a few here, and if I’m missing any that you think should be on the list – feel free to let me know in the comments section.

-Tableau (Entertainment District) – From $580 per square foot
