New Hotel & Condo Coming to Entertainment District
Yesterday we announced a rumour that Great Gulf Homes were working on a site located at 357 King West, today it has been announced that Remington Homes will be teaming with Hotel Company “Easton Group” to develop the site at 355 King West, located directly opposite the site we discussed yesterday.

355 King West is the current Westinghouse Building and it is currently unknown how the existing building will be worked into the new development. What we DO know is that the proposal calls for not one, but TWO new buildings; a 47 Storey building located at the North of the lane way and a 35 storey building located on the south side of the lane way.
The proposal requests 542 residential suites, 116 hotel suites as well as commercial and retail.
The site was purchased by The Easton Group for over $70 million (whose brands of hotels include W Hotels and Hilton Garden Inn) and they had teamed up with Remington Group to provide the residential experience. With other high end hotels in the immediate vicinity such as Bisha, Ritz Carlton and Hotel Le Germaine, it will be interesting to see what direction Easton Group take with this new site.
Hotel & Residential towers have been popular in Toronto recently (think Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Trump, Shangri La and Bisha), with residents getting the benefit of the Hotel Amenities and Concierge while living in a condominium.
This is another exciting proposal in Toronto’s vibrant Entertainment District. Members of our Insiders Club will get first access to this project including floorplans, prices and opportunity to purchase. Register below!
