Yesterday a small group of 15 Toronto’s top new condo agents were called into a private meeting in King West to announce the launch of the flagship condominium building of the entire City: The One Condos. We are proud to announce that TalkCondo will be among a small and elite group of Platinum Brokers with first access to The One Condos.
The One Condos is one of the most talked about new condominium projects in Toronto. The location, the commercial tenants, the height and the scope of the project have made it one of the most highly anticipated condominiums Toronto has to offer. It will be the first tower to stand taller than First Canadian Place and marks Toronto’s march towards the Super Tall (towers taller than 300m).
The One will be located at the south west corner of Yonge & Bloor, two of Toronto’s most important streets and in the heart of Yorkville, widely regarded as the centre of Toronto and home to the best shopping, restaurants, cafes, hotels and residences that the City has to offer.
The One began construction last week (late August 2017).
One of the most striking features of the building is the unique architecture that wows from head to toe. Designed by Foster + Partners, a global leader in architecture having designed some of the most recognizable buildings around the world (including the Gherkin in London, the brand new Apple Park in Cupertino, Wembley Stadium and so much more).
The tower will feature an exoskeleton structure gives the tower a unique exterior design but also serves an important function as it supports the building from the outside as opposed to large columns that typically take up space in the prime corner suites.
During the private meeting, we were also given a sneak peak into what to expect in terms of suite finishes and services. Every detail has been thought out by Mizrahi Developments, a team that is renowned for building high quality luxury residences. We will be taking a much closer look at the specifics of The One in the coming weeks during the lead up to the launch.
