Ontario Place Revitalization Plans Revealed

Back in August we announced that a “facelift” for Ontario Place was on the cards with developers invited to make proposals for their plans for the site.  Today we got a glimpse at what to expect.

Ontario Place represents prime waterfront property in Toronto and talks of redevelopment have been around for some time.

It has been announced that a 7.5 acre public waterfront park will be the centerpiece of the re-development and will be completed in time for the 2015 Pan Am games.  The public park announcement is the first phase of the re-development that is also expected to include hotels, restaurants and new condominiums but NOT a new casino.

While specific details are scarce, we’re keeping a close eye on this and can’t wait for more details and renderings of what they have in store!
