PACE Condos Launches to VIP Agents: Incredible Value

In the last week or so we have had an incredible response for Pace Condos.  A number of enquiries, and the Pace Condos project page is one of the most viewed on TalkCondo (despite having very little information on it before today!).

So what drove people towards PACE?

-Developer: One of the biggest pieces in the pre-construction jigsaw.  Who is the developer and do they have a good track record? Well, in this case the developer is Great Gulf Homes, ones of the Cities most well respected builders.  Their recent work of very high quality projects such as One Bloor, Charlie and X Condos has really put them on the map.  Their older work, such as 18 Yorkville and The Hudson are among the most popular developments in Toronto and have both held their values very well.

-Price: When PACE initially launched their slogan as “THE BEST *!#@% DEAL IN DOWNTOWN TORONTO”, even I didn’t anticipate the prices to be as low as they are.  With suites in the podium starting from $475 per square foot, and suites in the tower from $520 per square foot – these are prices cheaper than Mississauga or North York and are IN THE CITY.  Jarvis & Dundas ain’t the prettiest intersection in Toronto, but it’s a stones throw from Yonge & Dundas Square and Eaton Center.

The development is scheduled to occupy in 2015, giving the development plenty of time to have your deposit money appreciate and work hard for you.

The suites are designed by renowned designer Cecconi Simone and are finished with 9″ ceilings, laminate flooring throughout, upgraded kitchen including integrated fridge & dishwasher, corian countertops and stainless steel appliances.  Not too shabby.

The building itself stands 46 storeys.  The floorplans themselves are very good uses of space — I’ve highlighted a couple of my favourites below.


Excellent 1 bedroom floorplan.  537 square feet – bedroom gives up some width for some very generous closet space and direct access to the washroom.  Excellent living space with direct access to a large balcony.  Priced from $279,900 ($521 per square foot).


Another terrific 1-bedroom floorplan at 619sq.ft.  Incredible glazing with LOTS of windows and natural sunlight.  Gives up space in the bedroom for a more generous living space.  Bedroom has direct access to washroom.  Priced from $326,900 (approx $526 per square foot)
