Rogers to Develop 10-Tower Condo Project in Mississauga
Rogers Real Estate Development (yes, the same Rogers that is on your Cell phone and TV) have announced that they will be creating M City Condos a master planned community in Mississauga that will feature 10 brand new condominiums, with 6,000 units (4.3 million sq.ft. of development) that could become the home to 15,000 residents upon completion.

The parcel of land, located in Mississauga at Burnhamthorpe Road & Confederation Parkway was originally purchased for just $170,000 in the 1960’s by Ted Rogers. The planning process for this parcel began almost a decade ago in 2007, just a year before Ted Rogers died in December 2008.
The Rogers company believes their proposal is a legacy to Ted Rogers and have pushed the envelope on design throughout the proposal; from the high end architecture of the towers, to the ground level retail, to the public spaces and parkland that the developers promise to prioritize.
The first tower (the far left) is expected to launch in 2017 with suites ranging between $200,000 to $750,000. The remaining towers in the master planned rendering are currently place holders and final designs are pending.
To develop the project, Rogers have teamed up with one of Toronto’s top developers; Urban Capital who are known for building unique designs with projects such as River City (phase 1, 2 & 3), Smart House Condos and Harris Square Condos each having pushed the boundaries on architecture and design.
The brand new community will be located steps to City Hall and will be steps to the future $1.3-billion LRT that will run along Hurontario and connect Brampton to Downtown Mississauga.
