This Week in New Condos (November 27)

As 2015 winds down, condo developers slow down their major updates for the end of the year as they look forward to 2016.  New launches and special incentives will be put on hold until January, but below are a handful of major changes in the last week.

1. Cumberland & Yonge Condos (Toronto (Yorkville))

Cumberland & Yonge Condos at 8 Cumberland is one of the most exciting locations in the heart of Yorkville; Toronto’s premiere luxury neighbourhood.  It has recently been announced that Great Gulf Homes will be partnering Phantom Developments for this exciting launch in early 2016.  The project will stand an incredible 64 storeys.

2. Forestview Towns (Pickering)

A new 38 unit townhouse project in Pickering by Stafford Homes.  Currently in construction with an expected completion date of 2017.

3. Estates on Bayview (Toronto)

A luxury townhouse project by Bazis International.  The Estates on Bayview will be located at 401 & Bayview and will be designed by Roy Varacalli, the famed architect behind Bazis’ incredible condominium portfolio including Exhibit Residences, 1 Yorkville Condos and E Condos (among others).  The Estates on Bayview are expected to be a luxorious collection with expansive outdoor terraces and oversized back yards.

4. Artist’ Alley Condos (Toronto)

Located in the heart of Downtown Toronto at Dundas & Simcoe, Lanterra have confirmed that Artist’ Alley Condominiums will be launching in the spring of 2016.  The 54 storey tower, designed by Hariri Pontarini is located steps from the St. Patrick Subway Station and is ideally located for the Hospital District, Universities and Financial District of Downtown Toronto.
