Yorkville Plaza: 2 New Towers Approved
A second phase of Yorkville Plaza was never a secret; it was well documented that a brand new second tower would occupy the space south of the current Four Seasons Hotel (read our post from early October detailing the new tower here). On December 30th, the city approved two new towers to be built on the site.
The first tower is a 39 storey residential tower (Yorkville Plaza Phase 2) and the second is a 10 storey mixed use building. Details are currently scarce on the second 10 storey tower.
A couple of weeks ago we also revealed a brand new design for the podium of the current Four Seasons Hotel and what will eventually be the base of the new tower.
Brand new podium featuring future placement of Yorkville Plaza Phase 2
The new tower will offer premium finishes and suites are rumoured to be starting from $1,500 per square foot. The north side of the building WILL face into Phase 1 of Yorkville Plaza, however, the South Views will offer incredible views of Toronto.
There are currently no renderings or further details for Phase 2, however, we do anticipate a Spring 2012 launch to Platinum Brokers.
TalkCondo offered our clients FIRST access to Yorkville Plaza Phase 1, and Phase 2 will be no different. For front of line access to this exciting project, complete the registration form below!
