What is a “Condo Worksheet”?
Question: What is a “Condo Worksheet”
A worksheet is a term that the industry uses for a “Suite Reservation Form” or “Condominium Wish List”.
In condominium projects with high demand, developers will ask buyers to complete a Worksheet which indicates the following:
- The Name, Address and Contact Information of the client wishing to purchase
- 3-5 Suite Options and Floor Ranges that you would be interested in
- A copy of a piece of ID (typically a Drivers License for local buyers) to confirm accuracy of information
The developers will then typically organize and allocate suites based on the requests on the Worksheet. Once you have been allocated a suite, you will be contacted with a time to sign the agreement.
It is important to note that by submitting a “Condo Worksheet” you are NOT binding yourself to purchase a suite. Once you have been allocated a suite you still have the option to change your decision. Once you sign the agreement, you still have the 10 Day Rescission Period to confirm your purchase.
